Different: The Story of an Outside-the-Box Kid and the Mom Who Loved Him is a personal story of what it’s like to live with a child who has OCD, ADHD, and ODD. Authors Sally Clarkson and son, Nathan, alternate between their perspectives. They show how Nathan’s mental illnesses manifested themselves differently throughout his life – from constant screaming as a child, to intensification of symptoms in adolescence, and finally to a diagnosis and help.
