No Apologies is a character-based abstinence curriculum that helps young people make wise choices regarding high-risk behaviour, including sexual involvement before marriage. The curriculum deals with the value of the individual, marriage, the family and the importance of keeping ourselves pure for our future spouse. The objectives of the No Apologies curriculum are to help participants:
1 – Understand the value of character and abstinence leading to healthy behaviour
2 – Identify clearly the consequences associated with premarital sexual activity
3 – Recognise the relationship between love and sex and the benefits of saving sex for marriage
4 – Practice skills necessary to achieve the goal of abstinence from premarital sexual involvement
Our energetic facilitators speak the truth about life, love, and sex with learners in schools across the country. Our facilitators are vetted for not only character but passion to work with youth. They love what they do and it shows! Learners build trust with the facilitators which creates a positive, open environment for youth to share what’s really going on with someone who can help point them in a positive direction. No Apologies has been running in South Africa for over a decade and we have impacted hundreds of thousands of youth through this life-changing program. We work with the Department of Education, school principals, parents, and community members to bring our program to learners all over the country.
